Rotary Club of Springs Park president inducted
“Our vision for this club has always been led by our motto, which is, be an inspiration,” says Schaap.
The Rotary Club of Springs Park inducted Louise Schaap as its president on Thursday evening.
Rotarians, past presidents, guests, as well as the very first exchange student the club hosted, also celebrated the 40th anniversary of the club which was chartered in June 1978.
In her induction speech, president-elect Schaap says, “Our vision for this club has always been led by our motto which is, be an inspiration.”

In outlining the plans for the club the year, Schaap says she aims to, “grow the membership of the club, keep the fun in fund-raising, empower the youth, promote the Rotary values of peace and harmony in the country as well as incorporating the Rotary Peace Prayer in all their actions.”
As well as the induction, there were also prizes given out to various members and the board of directors was presented.
