Shoppers brought their young children to make their dad a special gift.
The main aim was to acknowledge dads this Father’s day.
Children were given the opportunity to make their dad a superhero chocolate gift for his special day.
A supermarket at the Avenues sponsored the chocolate gifts.
Each child went home with a gift for their father.

“The response was more than expected and it was wonderful to see their faces as they left with that special gift,” says Carolynn Weedon, marketing manager of The Avenues.
“The young shoppers also helped to make extra superhero gifts which were delivered to old age homes in Springs, acknowledging all the grandfathers.”
The supermarket and The Avenues visited Springs Retirement Home and Esda Frail Care and gave each dad a superhero chocolate, The Avenues key ring, notepad and pen as an acknowledgement.
