• The ever-popular Fatima Feast will be held at noon at the Springs Catholic Church, Derby Ave, Springs Extension. Delicious Portuguese chicken, pregos and espetadas will be available as well as music, dancers and children’s entertainment. Contact Barbara-Ann Day on 082 450 1130.

• Ka-ttitude and Springs Central Air Scouts are having a bingo evening at the Pollock Park Golf Club starting at 6.30pm for 7pm. Ticket price includes a meal and eight bingo tickets. June 2

• Selpark CPF will hold a 5km walk/run for the whole family. Enter the Selcourt Enclosure at the main boom gate. Registration begins at 9am and the walk starts at 9.30am. • Christian Family Church Eden Encounters Springs will host its first birthday celebration in the Springs Secondary School hall at 67 Honeysuckle Drive, Bakerton, from 4pm. Contact Pastor Sandy Rajpal on 061 005 5497.

• A guided 10km group hike through the Melville Koppies Central sets off at 8.30am sharp. Park in the upper car park at Marks Park, Judith Road, Emmarentia. Hikers must be fit with good balance as paths are rocky and steep. Children must be over six years old. No dogs. Contact Wendy Carstens on 011 482 4797.
