Kosmos Carnival held in Strubenvale

Over 2 000 people attend the Kosmos Carnival.

Thousands turned up for the Kosmos Carnival in Strubenvale on Saturday morning.

The carnival was a family-friendly outing and both young and old enjoyed all that was on offer.

There were jumping castles, a baby competition and shooting range for the attendees to take part in.

Organiser Magda Fourie says, “The festival was very well attended and we were so blessed, it’s unreal.”

The carnival was held by the AGS Lofford church in Strubenvale.

Over 2 000 people enjoyed the carnival which was held to benefit the Springs and KwaThema Welfare, the Call her Blessed Home for abused women and children, and the Rus ’n Bietjie Old Age Home.

“These are not the only beneficiaries at this stage.

“As a church, we also support other people with what they need, be it food or clothes,” says Fourie.

The day ended with performances from Dirk van der Westhuizen and Dewald Wasserfall.
