The Springs Art Gallery hosted its official opening of the photographic exhibition of Chris Hani on Saturday.

Ekurhuleni metro’s MMC for Community Services Clr Dora Mlambo officially opened the Chris Hani photographic exhibition.

This was part of the metro’s Chris Hani month celebrations.

The Kwatsaduza Jazz Band entertained the crowd with their music until DJ Vusi Gold took the stage and entertained the guests for the rest of the event.

The art and photography displayed on the day was an interpretation by various school children of Chris Hani’s beliefs, his life and the story behind Chris Hani.

Schools were invited to submit their version of interpretations. The ones that stayed true to the theme were selected to be displayed at the gallery.
