Fun at Avenues box car race
The Avenues Shopping Centre hosted its first box car race on Saturday.
Families and their children were invited to enter, free of charge, and make their own box cars for the race.
Vouchers and other prizes were given to those who entered and for the winners.
Everything was supplied to decorate the box cars, from the boxes to the art supplies.
A race track was set up at one of the courts in the shopping centre.
There was loud music and Zumba dancing to entertain the crowd.
Shaun Oliver, motivational speaker and MC of the day says the Christian Academy of Performing Arts also attended the day.
