People are dumping their rubbish at the parking lot on 4th Street and it has become a problem for Africa Catering Equipment Supplies, which is opposite the parking lot.
“The problem has been going on for months now and it is causing problems for us.
“The business nearby throws away their scrap metal here, people throw their rubbish here and there is also building rubble here now.
“It is causing problems because our customers don’t have anywhere to park and it looks dirty and it is right on our doorstep,” says store manager Carl Potter.

The parking lot belongs to the Metro and the business alleges they have reported it to them several times but nothing happens.
The business also alleges that people burn the scrap metal in the parking lot and it is a fire hazard for all the shops nearby.
The metro failed to respond in time for publication.
