Brothers locked in storeroom

Four Bakerton brothers attacked.

A man and his four brothers were attacked by armed suspects in their shop in Bakerton last Wednesday around 7.30am.

Capt Johannes Ramphora, spokesperson for the Springs police, says five suspects armed with pistols entered the shop and started attacking the brothers.

Two suspects allegedly took the complainant and one of his brothers to the storeroom.

“They took the complainant’s cellphone, as well as another cellphone from the storeroom, and instructed the pair to stay in the room or they will be shot,” he says.

The brothers remained in the room until they could no longer hear any noise or voices coming from the front of the shop.
