Rorisang Victim Empowerment Project in Strubenvale seeks to help victims of domestic abuse

New help centre for victims of domestic abuse opening soon.

The Rorisang Victim Empowerment Project would like to inform the public that it is to cater for abused women and girls from ages 0 to 11 years old.

“We actually named the project after a gentleman who was very sick and encouraged us to start a project like this.

“It was something I always wanted to do so our vision aligned quite nicely,” says manager Busi Mkize.

The organisation should open its doors on April 3 if everything goes according to plan.

Rorisang Victim Empowerment Project is appealing to the Springs public for donations of blankets, beds, food and clothing.

The NGO is based at Stand 1382 in Strubenvale Extention Two.

Their operating hours will be 7.30am to 4.30pm.
