Dersley resident stunned by metro’s alleged refusal to give reference number

Local resident stunned by metro's refusal to give a reference number.

Isabel Roos was left flabbergasted by the metro after they allegedly refused to give her a reference number when she reported a problem.

“There is a canal right opposite my house and when it rains, it floods the street and our boundary walls.

“This has been going on for three years and it is a major problem for us,” says Roos.

When it is not raining, the residents allege that people hide stolen goods in the canal and throw their rubbish in there.

They also allege that there have been a few attempted hijackings in the area.

The residents have reported the matter to the metro and they allege that the metro says they are aware of the problem, but they refuse to give them reference numbers.

The metro failed to respond to these allegations at the time of publication.
