Residents of Springs Retirement Village were pleased to see workers from the Ekurhuleni Metro picking up the litter on Colliery Road that had built up since the festive season.
This comes after The Addie reported on the litter problem on Colliery Road last week.

“The overflowing rubbish bins and litter were an eyesore for those of us who live opposite the road.
“We are really pleased the metro attended to this problem quickly,” says local resident Cecelia Stevens.
