Top matric achievers of Veritas College

Here are the top 2017 matric achievers from Veritas College.

Nkateko Silaluke, of Veritas, completed her IEB exams with seven distinctions, including two A+ symbols in Zulu and life orientation. Her other distinctions were for accounting, English, history, maths and physical science. She will be attending the University of Cape Town in pursuit of a chemical engineering degree.

 

Zakhna Dhiraj completed her IEB matric at Veritas College with five distinctions. She excelled in accounting, life orientation, life sciences, maths (A+) and advanced programme maths. She will be studying towards a degree in electrical engineering at the University of the Witwatersrand.

 

Deidre Jacobs, from Veritas, received five distinctions in her IEB exams. These were for accounting, Afrikaans, advanced programme maths, maths and life orientation. She will be studying towards a BSc in maths at either the University of Cape Town or the University of Pretoria.

 

Veritas learner Jemma Pellizzon received five distinctions in her IEB exams. She excelled in Afrikaans, geography, life orientation (A+), life science and maths, and will pursue a degree in dentistry at the University of Pretoria.

 

Ipeleng Lentsoe, from Veritas, achieved distinctions in five of her IEB subjects – accounting, life orientation (A+), English, Zulu and history – and will be studying towards a BComm Accounting at either the University of Cape Town or Stellenbosch University.

Kerryn Potgieter completed her IEB matric at Veritas with six distinctions in Afrikaans, English, history, life orientation (A+), life sciences and maths. She was also in the top one per cent of learners in LO. Kerryn hopes to study medicine at the University of Witwatersrand.
