Supermarket robbed in CBD

A business robbery took place at a supermarket in Springs CBD on Saturday at around 7pm.

“Two males entered the shop and asked for airtime,” says Amanda Greybe, spokesperson for the Springs Police.

The owner was sitting behind the counter and his brother was sitting outside the shop.

One suspect allegedly pulled out a 9mm firearm and pointed it at the owner.
