Lets braai fish

South Africans pride themselves in the heritage of braaing this festive and it will still be one of the most common and convenient ways of entertaining our loved ones and ourselves.

The problem becomes the consumption of processed red meat.

“Many years ago this was not much of an issue because animals would wander around and eat whatever was natural to them like grass, insects and so forth.

“But these days cows are fed grain-based feed and growth hormonal products,” says Zamosi Ngomane, owner of Moz Deli Foods.

He believes these life choices have negative effects on our health.

“As much as our body needs proteins and nutrients, consuming a lot of meat can lead to cardiovascular diseases, diabetes and worst of all death.”

Moz Deli Foods believe they have provided a slight solution to some of these issues.

“Fish contains Omega-3 fatty acids, which regulates blood cholesterol in your system, Fish also contains vitamin D, which is highly needed for straightening your bones.

“It also contains vitamin A for your skin health and reduces blindness diseases.”

Moz Deli provides fish in a South African way by braaing the fish and adding olive oil which is also good for your health. It contains antioxidants which are vital in straightening your immune system, which will protect the body from unwanted diseases.

“The most important feeling that Moz Deli provides is giving fish the similar taste to meat and a highly delicious effect that you will ever taste in any fish, which still gives South Africans indigenous ways of braaing the respect it needs and does not compromise our health in any way. Therefore, we ask “WHY NOT MOZ DELI FOODS?”
