Children treated at care centre

Thandabantu Community Care Centre in Geduld was treated to a Christmas party on Saturday.

A solutions-based company in Springs partners with Thandabantu every year and treats the non-profit organisation and various residents from Springs to an early Christmas.

Pieter Snooke, who works at the centre, explains the company makes Christmas special for the children.

The owner and founder of the organisation, Mirriam Ntselo, says it is not just the centre’s children who are treated, but children from various areas in Springs were treated at the event.

Every child was given a soft toy and lucky packet as well as hot dogs, ice cream and cooldrink.

Miriam says there were about 250 children catered for.

Pieter says they cannot thank the community enough.

“We want to thank every one in Springs for their support throughout the year and everything they have done for us.

“May you all have a wonderful holiday and a blessed new year.”
