Springs Bhairavi Sungum to host senior citizens day with elderly parents

On November 26 the Bhairavi Sungum of Springs will host its annual Day with Our Elderly Parents at the Bakerton Community Centre.

The Bhairavi Sungum of Springs will be hosting its 27th Annual Day with Our Elderly Parents on November 26 at the Bakerton Community Centre, commencing at 11.30am.

Entry to the function is strictly for all senior citizens regardless of race or religion and is by invitation only.

The day will start with a luncheon cultural presentation followed by tea and cakes and end with the presentation of gifts.

There will be plenty of entertainment, competitions, songs, dances and prizes to be won.

“The Sungum ensures that this 27th Annual Day with Our Elderly Parents will be a memorable one and we request that the date be diarised,” says Bhairavi Sungum chairman Kesavan Pillay.

All efforts will be taken to ensure that the invitations are delivered.

Should there be any instance where senior members of the community did not receive an invitation, they may contact any of the officials.

Notice is given to all senior citizens within the jurisdiction of Bakerton who are 60 years and older and have not yet registered with the Bhairavi Sungum.
