Buster en Bella show at NG-Kerk Presidentsoord
Presented by Kindervermaak South Africa, Buster en Bella kept the children at NG-Kerk Presidentsoord entertained on Saturday morning.
Children at NG-Kerk Presidentsoord in Petersfield enjoyed themselves singing along to rhymes performed by Buster en Bella on Saturday morning.
Buster en Bella, presented by Kindervermaak South Africa, are characters played by Hendri Myburgh and Lianie May.
Rene Minnie, accounts payable clerk at NG-Kerk Presidentsoord, says bringing Buster en Bella to the church was a great honour.
“Interacting with the younger generation at church somehow brought a need of finding a way to entertain the children and a way to fundraise for the church as well,” says Minnie.
Minnie says the Gospel-oriented show was also held to bring the children back to the church and to show them that they are also accommodated.
NG-Kerk Presidentsoord Reverend Johan Barnard says the show strengthened the church’s involvement with surrounding communities and schools in the area.
“We gave away quite a few marketing items that included tickets to primary and high schools around us and also to Smiley Kids Nursery School,” says Barnard.
Barnard says they aim to offer more bilingual children’s entertainment shows, as the support they are given also comes from English schools.
Barnard and Minnie would like to thank all the parents and schools for the great support they showed for NG-Kerk Presidentsoord.
