Five friends from Bakerton were surprised by two armed suspects while they were celebrating Deepavali on Friday.
According to Springs police spokesperson, Capt Johannes Rampora, the main gate and garage door at Honeysuckle Drive were left open.
The owner of the house and his four friends were celebrating in the garage at 12.20am when the two armed suspects entered.
“Both suspects pointed their guns at the victims,” says Ramphora.
The victims were ordered to lie down and were robbed of their cell phones.
No shots were fired and the suspects fled the scene on foot.
Police are investigating a case of house robbery.
