Head wounds allegedly cause of man’s death

Police receive news of injured man who died of his wounds.

Stanley Molatodi was found bleeding next to a tavern at Skoonplaas Informal Settlement on Friday.

According to Capt Johannes Ramphora, spokesperson for the Springs police, community members found the bleeding man at 10.50pm and contacted the police.

“He was bleeding profusely from stab wounds to the right-hand side of his head,” he says.

When the paramedics arrived at the scene, they treated the man (age unknown) and took him to a nearby hospital where he died of his injuries at 7am the next day.

“The deceased is believed to be from Limpopo,” says Ramphora.

Ramphora says the object used to stab the man is unknown.

A case of murder has been opened at the Springs Police Station.
