In response to a query on the progress at Murray Park, metro spokesperson Themba Gadebe commented as follows:
“Progress on the park was given to the community through the last Imbizo held in Bakerton in June.
“A contractor has been on site for a while and there are no delays in terms of the progress.
“Phase Two will be completed at the end of October and the last phase will commence just after that as the contractor has already been appointed.”
No date of when the official opening will take place was given by the metro.
