Highlighting matric achievements

The Springs Advertiser will once again publish the results of the city's top matric achievers in our January 11 edition.

We will include the results of all learners who achieve four or more distinctions, excluding life orientation, in either the Independent Examinations Board (IEB) or National Senior Certificate (NSC) exams.

To be eligible, learners must either attend school or live in Springs.

To enable us to include all those matric learners who excel in their final exams, schools and parents need to submit the following details of learners they expect to achieve at least four distinctions to us by no later than November 15:

• The name of the learner and the area in which they live.

• The school they attend.

• The subjects in which they are expected to excel.

• What they plan to do in 2018. If they will be studying please tell us what they will study and where.

• A telephone number on which they can be contacted once their results have been released.

• A JPEG head and shoulders photo of at least 1MB which must be sent as an attachment. Photos which are embedded in a word document or email cannot be used and the learner’s photo will not appear.

The Addie will also highlight the achievements of all the schools in Springs and we, therefore, need the contact number of the principal or a staff representative who can be contacted once the results have been released.

All information and photos can be sent to editor Samantha Keogh on samk@caxton.co.za or hand delivered to our offices at 48 Fifth Avenue, Springs CBD.

No faxed photos will be accepted.
