A murder investigation was launched after a man’s body was found.

The man who was found with multiple stab wounds to his chest in front of his shack last Monday has been identified as Sylvester Sekatane.

The body was found at Daggafontein Informal Settlement at 1.07pm, on Monday.

According to Capt Johannes Ramphora, Springs police spokesperson, Sekatane was a 44-year-old man who had lived in the informal settlement for quite some time.
