A man was followed to his house in Durban Drive, Slovo Park on Sunday.
According to SAPS spokesperson Capt Johannes Ramphora, the man claims he was followed home after he left the shebeen at 10.30pm.
Two suspects pushed him into his house and allegedly accused him of stealing their car radio.
“One of the suspects assaulted the man with a firearm,” says Ramphora.
The suspects searched the house and took a TV, kettle, iron and a cellphone.
After the ordeal, he walked to the Springs Police Station where he reported the house robbery.
Ramphora says the policeman on duty allegedly had to wait for the man to sober up before he could take down his statement.
