Miss Springs category finalists revealed
The top Junior and Teen finalists – who are vying for the title of Miss Springs casual ramp 2017– have been revealed.
Miss Springs held the casual leg of its pageant on August 26 at Springs Mall as part of its top annual community event.
Founded in 2010, the community pageant seeks to promote education and advancement for the juniors and teens in Springs.
The pageant is highly competitive and aims to bring out the leadership qualities in girls in Springs.
“Miss Springs pageant is a community pageant that encourages girls to build confidence in not only themselves, but also in the residents of Springs and everything that the community is about,” says Zeldeen Kriel, event organiser.
The winner will become a goodwill ambassador for Springs Mall and upon winning she will carry out her responsibilities as title holder of Miss Springs, which involves community and charity work based on her pageant platform.
The Miss Springs category is for competitors from 17 to 27 years old.
The Junior Springs category is for girls between the ages of nine and 12, while Miss Teen Springs is for those from 13 to 16.
The chosen finalists will compete for the prestigious title on October 28 in an event which promises a stunning line-up on the day.
