Suspects target school for projectors.

Suspects target primary school and take projectors and curtains.

Veritas Preparatory School was robbed on Sunday.

Capt Johannes Ramphora, SAPS spokesperson, says a security guard was patrolling the premises at 2.30am when he was approached by two suspects.

The suspects, one of whom was armed with a firearm, tied up the the 37-year-old guard’s hands and legs with electrical cords.

Burglar bars of nine classrooms were broken to gain entry.

“Nine projectors and curtains were taken from the classrooms before the suspects fled the scene,” says Ramphora.

The guard managed to untie himself at 6.30am when the supervisor arrived on the premises.

SAPS are investigating a case of business robbery.
