The body of an unknown man was found in an open veld at Steenkamp Farm, Sharondale, on Tuesday.
According to Dunnottar police the community found the body and reported the matter to the police.
The deceased was wearing black shoes with grey soles, light grey overall pants, brown leather belt with a SOS badge on the belt, white long sleeve T-shirt and black jacket with orange lining inside.
The investigating officer W/O Fana Mkwanazi says the deceased is between 35 and 45 old.
The deceased weights about 90kg and is approximately 1.72m tall.
“We are investigating a case of murder and believe the body was dumped in the open veld,” says Mkwanazi.
