He raped a five-year-old girl between 2014 and 2015 in Bakerton.
SAPS spokesperson Capt Johannes Ramphora says Lesese was arrested at his house in Bakerton on November 10, 2015.
“The court ordered his name to be added to the national register of sexual offenders and he was also found unsuitable to work with children,” he says.
Ramphora says the child’s mother took her to a doctor as soon as she realised something was wrong.
“The doctor confirmed the child was sexually abused,“ he says.
Lesese will serve his sentence in Modderbee Prison.
