AfriForum offers free house number signage

AfriForum Springs has offered to supply residents with a new, standardised street number for their property.

“This service is free,” says Richardt Lubbe, from AfriForum Springs.

He says although most residents already have street numbers displayed on their walls or gates, the police, Community Police Forum and emergency services often struggle to find addresses in the event of an emergency as house numbers are not visible.

“Community safety is important to us, therefore, we would like to standardise house number signage,” says Lubbe.

“In case of an emergency, the more visible your house number is the easier it will be to get the help you need,” says Lubbe.

He says residents won’t necessarily have to get rid of their existing street number signs if they opt to get a new one from Afriforum.

Those interested in taking advantage of this offer can contact Lubbe on 079 511 0072 or Cornel Swart on 083 648 2669.
