When he woke up he noticed two robbers in his room.
SAPS spokesman Capt Johannes Ramphora says the suspects took the youngster’s cellphone from under his pillow and instructed him to sleep.
When the young man peeped through his bedroom window, he saw a shadow and immediately went to his parent’s bedroom.
“We believe it might have been the shadow of a third suspect,“ Ramphora says.
On his way there, he met his sister (16), who claims the suspect took her cellphone as well.
The two found the kitchen door wide open.
Ramphora says the brother and sister woke up their parents and discovered that their cellphones had also been taken by the suspects.
Upon further investigation the family found two TV sets had disappeared from the house as well, in addition to the daughter’s laptop and two pairs of tekkies.
SAPS are investigating a case of house robbery.
