Between 10am and 2pm four suspects were arrested for illegal mining.
They are between 21 and 29 years of age.

Capt Johannes Ramphora, Springs police spokesman, says they also confiscated two phendukas, a wheelbarrow, five shovels and six picks.
Station commander Brig Thembeka Gwebushe praised the policemen for a job well done.

“We need to stop this kind of crime, and murders among illegal miners,” says Gwebushe.
