Proud moment for H2O swimmers

Swimmers receive recognition for outstanding performances.

Team H2O swim club recently held their annual prize-giving in Selcourt.

The following swimmers were awarded medals and trophies:

Cassidy Kelly and Ruben Bloem received recognition for participating in the level one regional championships, which were held in March.

Cassidy obtained two second places in the event he qualified for.

Dylan Kelly, Connor Kruger and Jeremy Moodley participated in the level two regional championships and all three of them were awarded medals by Swim South Africa for achieving places in their respective events.

“Taylin Cronk and Byron Buckley participated in the level three regional championships and did us very proud,” says Grafe.

Byron won a bronze medal in the event he qualified for.

Trophies were handed to the following swimmers:

The trophy for the most improved junior swimmer was given to Luke Robbeson.

George Houndalas received the trophy for the most improved intermediate swimmer.

The award for the most improved senior swimmer was given to Dylan Kelly.

Kelsey Reed was awarded the trophy for the most dedicated swimmer for the season.

“Our swimmers did incredibly well during the season,” says Grafe.
