Three of the suspects were arrested in Endicott at 6pm on Sunday.
The fourth suspect was apprehended in Wattville at 11am on Monday.
A high-speed chase from Springs to KwaZenzele informal settlement, in Endicott, led to the arrests.
SAPS confiscated the white Toyota Quantum used in the robbery on Monday.
An EMPD officer was on a routine patrol in the CBD at 6pm, on Sunday, when he noticed the Quantum skipping a red light between First and Third streets in the CBD.
SAPS spokesman Capt Johannes Ramphora says the officer indicated to the driver of the Quantum to stop the vehicle, but instead the driver sped off.
The officer called for backup and chased the speeding driver down Nigel Road towards Endicott.

“As the suspects reached the informal settlement, they opened fire on the officer, who then retaliated.”
Ramphora says the first officer informed the other officers that he saw the four suspects running towards nearby houses after abandoning the Quantum.
When the officer searched the vehicle, he found a few IDs and various cards inside the vehicle.
The police took the vehicle to the police station.

Upon further investigation, police discovered the IDs and cards belonged to victims who were allegedly robbed by these suspects.
“Two cases of robbery that can be linked to the same Quantum were reported this month,” says Ramphora.
He says the suspects had allegedly been terrorising the Springs community for a while.
“We advise the community to contact the police if they have been robbed by suspects in a white Quantum,” says Ramphora.
The suspects will appear in court today (Thursday).
