Family’s vehicle hijacked in Strubenvale

A light delivery vehicle (LDV), a Rustler, was hijacked in Ermelo Road, Strubenvale on Friday.

A woman and her two children (ages unknown) were driving towards Largo Road at 8.30pm, when she noticed two Toyota Quantum mini-buses following her.

SAPS spokesman, Capt Johannes Ramphora, says the driver of one of the Quantums overtook the LDV and stopped in front of the vehicle while the other Quantum’s driver stopped next to the LDV.
