Police were conducting routine patrols when they were stopped by emergency services members who informed them about a body they had found near the Springs Station.

Capt Johannes Ramphora, SAPS spokesman, says the body had a stab wound to the right shoulder.
Paramedics declared the man dead at the scene.
The deceased was identified by his brother as Khendevu Mabena.
