Vispol arrests one suspect for possession of stolen property

SAPS Visible Policing (Vispol) arrested one suspect for possession of stolen property in Cowles Street, Rowhill on Friday.

Vispol reacted to information received from the Rowhill CPF at 1pm.

The suspect gained entry to the house through the front window, which he broke by throwing a brick through the window.

The suspect, aged 32 years, comes from Witfield, Germiston.

Capt Johannes Ramphora Springs police spokesman, says all the stolen goods taken from the house were found in the suspect’s possession.

The suspect informed the police he was allegedly dropped off at the house by two men.

“We are investigating a case of house break-in and theft,” says Ramphora.

the suspect will appear in the Springs Regional Court soon.
