The hunt for a man suspected of committing armed robberies over a period of five years ended when he was arrested in Kaapmuiden, in Mpumalanga, on Saturday.

Springs police spokesman Capt Johannes Ramphora believes businesses are going to breathe a sigh of relief after this arrest.

The suspect is currently in police custody, where he will remain until his first court appearance.
