Endicott children have fun at Rotundus

Hadassah Meyer and her family spoiled several underprivileged children at Rotundus resort in Vischkuil last Saturday.

The joy in their voices could be heard from afar while they were splashing in the pool.

Hadassah says she is always amazed by the fun the children have when she annually spoils them to a day of fun and lunch.

For the past 12 years she and her family have been reaching out to needy families and children in Endicott.

“I discovered the need of these families when we moved to Endicott a few years ago,” she says.

She delivered vegetables to the families on a weekly basis.

However, she will not be able to continue to spoil the children for their end-of-year fun day in the future, due to her health.

Due to her passion for these families, she will still be looking after them during the year.

“All the glory goes to God Almighty as he has made it possible for me to do this,” she says.

The children were treated to lunch and each received a sweets parcel and cold drink.

She established where the need was the highest and offered her help to try and bring comfort where necessary.

Hadassah still believes everyone can make a difference in the lives of needy families.

She still brightens up each child’s birthday throughout the year by giving them a gift and sponsoring a cake.
