Springs police spokesman Capt Johannes Ramphora says community members informed the police about a shooting at 3.39am.
When the SAPS arrived, they found the man lying naked in an outside room, with a bullet wound to his head.

Paramedics were called and declared the man dead on the scene.
Ramphora says the deceased was identified by his girlfriend.
“We also found a few cartridges in the room,” he adds.
A case of murder was opened at the police station.
