WATCH: Senior citizens have fun
The Avenues Shopping Centre management celebrated the contribution made by grandparents for the second year on Tuesday morning.
“In order to thank all our grandparents for their love and support we hosted this small event as a token of our appreciation,” says Bobby Galane, centre manager.
A light snack was served while most of the residents enjoyed the entertainment provided by Pieta Venter.
When Pieta invited the special visitors to the dance floor, they eagerly participated.
Patrick Freeman (62) says he enjoyed the dancing and the music.
Spot prizes were given out, and everyone left with a goodie bag containing hand lotion and biscuits.
