SAPS operations lead to six arrests

During the Springs police operations held in various Ekurhuleni East Clusters on Friday, the police from the Social Crime Prevention Unit arrested a total of six suspects.

Capt Johannes Ramphora, Springs police spokesman, says the aim of the operations was to search for firearms and drugs in the CBD.

He is adamant that the police will continue with the fight against crime.

During the first operation, the police arrested four suspects, aged between 24 and 66, for possession of drugs.
