Springs’ Miss Eco SA finalist

For Springsite Allesandri Pereira (21), being a finalist in the Miss Eco South Africa competition is a huge honour.

Allesandri loves working for a cause and lives by the motto “if we can change the life of only one person or species we have a achieved our goal in life”.

She has achieved a lot during her pageant years and this title will surely be the highlight.

The Miss Eco SA finalist has made a name in the industry competing against far more senior competitors.

At 19 she was a regional finalist for the Miss Earth South Africa pageant.

On the home front, Allesandri has worn the crown at pre-primary, primary and secondary school as beauty queen.

She has also been a hair model for L’Oreal South Africa.

Beauty pageants are a good platform to make a difference and promote a cause,” she says.

“The people you meet and the projects you do to really connect with the less fortunate make it all worthwhile.

“The happy faces on innocent children, who would otherwise not get exposed to making a vegetable garden or how to use recyclable items, as we show them these things.

“It’s all about empowering the less fortunate.”

Not just a pretty face, Allesandri is also a third year student currently studying for her B com Entrepreneurship and Business Management degree at NWU Potchefstroom.

“Representing my hometown Springs is such an honour,” she says.

She would like to appeal to the public to please vote for her as the public’s choice.

“I have been so overwhelmed with everyone’s support, I’m really humbled and truly blessed beyond my expectations.”
