Ho duo entertain special needs chidlren

Winston (36) and Delia Ho recently performed at a Miss Pretty Angel pageant, held at Veritas College.

Springs resident Debbie Liebenberg, who is one of the organisers, says the event is aimed creating special beauty queen moments for those who never have the opportunity to participate in a model or beauty pageant.

“I previously judged a showcase where Winston and Delia performed and invited them to perform at this event,” says Debbie.

Winston says they were honoured to serve as MC and to sing and dance at a pageant for children with special needs.

The couple, recently returned from Orlando, Florida, in America, where they competed in the Applause Rising Talent Showcase (Arts).

The Ho duo did exceptionally well in the Arts showcase and made it to the finals.

“Delia won a scholarship as overall commercial model,” says Winston.

Winston describes the Angel event organised by Debbie and Simone du Toit, Queen of the Universe, as ”phenomenal”.

“The children with special needs were dressed up and competed in a healthy, yet humble environment,” he adds.

He was amazed by the talent of the children and how they enjoyed their moment of fame.

The Ho duo did exceptionally well in the Arts showcase and made it to the finals.

“Delia won a scholarship an overall commercial model,” says Winston.

They both feel privileged to have shared their expertise, as well as the opportunity given to the special children.

“It was indeed an honour,” says Winston.
