Operation Snowdrop, a nonprofit organisation, recently received a donation of mushrooms, which they distributed to several charity organisations, including the Far East Rand Hospital (FERH).
Jacobé Botha, head of department at FERH, says the mushrooms are a welcome contribution to their Fresh Bake Bakery.
“We are grateful for everything that Operation Snowdrop has done in the past, as well as for this donation,” she adds.
Raymond Ayre, who delivered the donation on behalf of Ina McDonald, founder of Operation Snowdrop, says they try to assist where possible.
“When and if we get donations in bulk we always try to distribute them evenly to most of the charity organisation in need of assistance,” he explains.
