Hope iThemba receives generous donation

A local estate agent donated slippers and money to Hope iThemba Crisis Pregnancy Centre on Wednesday.

Business manager Lugene Annandale says she got her team to identify a non-government organisation to partner with to give back to the community.

Linda Coetzee, Hope iThemba board member, says they were thrilled to receive the slippers and chocolate treats that were delivered to them.

“These gifts will be added to the Mom’s Dignity Hospital Packs, which contain maternity and breast pads, a facecloth, towel, soap, shampoo, toothbrush and toothpaste, deodorant, lanolin, gown and slippers,” she says.

Hope iThemba is a non-profit organisation that strives to engage women who find themselves in a crisis pregnancy and desires to help them have a future and hope.

This can only be realised by a caring community and businesses who will join them in meeting this need.

“We wish to take this opportunity to thank all those who have partnered with us since June 2008,” says Coetzee.
