KwaThema Day Care Centre receives donation from Bianca

Dal Fouche resident Bianca Birnie (35) recently visited the Ndalo-Enhle Day Care Centre in KwaThema, as part of her charity duties as a finalist of Mrs Africa 2016.

She has been involved with the centre since January and loves her visits to the centre, particularly when she takes sweets with as a treat to brighten up the children’s faces.

With every visit Bianca takes small items with to try and assist the owner, Makhosazana Simelane (44), and her two teachers Shado Duba (44) en Rene Eiman (32).

During this visit she took sweets and books.

“My biggest goal is to get these children sponge mattresses to sleep on and a jungle gym to enjoy playing outdoors,” she says.

Bianca loves how Makhosazana manages the centre and regularly attends courses to improve her skills and to transfer her knowledge to the children.

“There has been a huge improvement over the past six months,” she says.

Bianca believes Makhosazana will go a long way with the education of the children as she is passionate about teaching them the necessary skills that will help them in their future.

Makhosazana says Bianca has been of great help to the centre.

“Not only do we appreciate her visits, we are also grateful for the educational equipment and books she has been donating to us,” she says.
