Two suspects, wearing balaclavas, robbed a family in Mossie Street, Daggafontein last Wednesday.
A man and woman woke up to the screams of their child at 2.30am.
According to Capt Johannes Ramphora, Springs police spokesman, the man then noticed one of the suspects pointing a gun at them.
The suspects were allegedly looking for a firearm, but instead took the couple’s wedding rings, a TV, jewellery and cellphones.
Ramphora says the robbers, who gained entry through a window, fled the scene on foot.
