Head-on collision claims another life on Springs’ roads
Debris is the only evidence of an accident that took place at 2am, at the Tonk Meter Way and Springs West Road intersection where a man died on Saturday.
It was a head-on collision between a Hyundai Getz and a Range Rover which claimed the life of the driver of the Getz.
Ekurhuleni Disaster and Emergency Management Services attended to the scene as well as paramedics from a private ambulance service.
Paramedics declared the driver of the Getz dead on the scene.
The driver of the Range Rover was treated on the scene and was taken to a nearby hospital for further treatment.
He sustained serious injuries.
