“I have reported the matter to the Ekurhuleni metro, to no avail,” says Maseko.
“I even went there personally, but there was still no feedback given to me.”
The angry resident says, upon every arrival at the Ekurhuleni metro offices, he was told that they would get back to him, however, he never received any response.
“All they did was note my query and tell me they would call me, but it never happened,” Maseko explained.
It is not until April 5 that Maseko decided to take the matter to the metro offices in Springs and only then did he receive a reference number for the complaint he had lodged.
Maseko, however says that the issue has still not been attended to.
“To this day, I am still waiting for the streetlights to be fixed,” he says.
We have still not received any feedback from the Ekurhuleni Metro regarding the matter.
