According to metro officers Louis Els and Louwtjie du Toit, they received a complaint about a vehicle break-in at 7pm, on the corner of Roxburgh Road and Fourie Ave, Selection Park.

Upon arrival they were informed by the community that the car door was forced open and the speakers removed.

The officers were also informed of the whereabouts of the suspect and followed up on the information received.

“We arrived at the apartment building in Roxburgh Road and found the speakers and the suspect, who admitted that he took the speakers,” says Els.
