Both accused appeared in court on Thursday and the case was postponed to Friday; however, only one of them applied for bail.
Magistrate Cornel Pretorius denied bail to accused one.
The duo stand accused of Jordaan’s murder, possession of unlicensed firearms, robbery with aggravated circumstances and the possession of a stolen vehicle.
Jordaan’s body was found by an Aston Lake employee on January 27.
The body had several stab wounds to the chest and Jordaan’s vehicle, his service pistol and wallet were stolen from the scene.
Both accused remain in custody at the Modderbee prison pending their next court appearance.
